Meet Our Researchers

Sherry and Jane are long time volunteers to our library. They provide research services to researchers who do not have access to the Riley County Genealogical Library. You may submit research questions and they will make every effort to reply to each message. However, responses are on a first come, first served basis. Our library has an extensive collection of materials, with particular emphasis on Riley and it's surrounding counties in Kansas.

Quick Search Service

Quick Search Service is for persons needing copies of reference material found in RCGS publications such as the Kansas Kin periodicals or our book, Pioneers of the Bluestem Prairie, or copies of newspaper obituaries. Use the Quick Search Service to request copies.

Quick Search Service charge: $10.00
Up to 10 copied pages included in the Quick Search Service charge.

Personalized Search Service

Persons desiring Personalized Genealogical research by RCGS volunteers may make their request using the Request for Personalized Genealogical Research Form.

Personalized Genealogical Research charges: $15.00 per hour, one hour minimum non refundable.
Up to 10 copied pages inlcuded in the minimum charge.
If additional time is needed to fulfil the request, our researcher will notify you before proceeding.
