Compiled and published by the Riley County Genealogical Society in 1976. To date 3,250 copies have been sold. The book tells the story of pioneer families who settled and lived in Clay, Geary, Marshall, Riley, Pottawatomie, Washington, and Wabaunsee counties in the state of Kansas. There are about 6,000 surnames listed and the stories were written by the descendants of these Blue Stem Pioneers.
